Have you explored care funding options?

We understand that arranging care can be a highly emotional and financially challenging time. Our expert Care Advisors are here to help you navigate funding options, including:

  • Local authority funding and state benefits: It’s likely you could get all or part of the weekly fees covered by your local authority. Use our free funding calculator to check your eligibility and identify potential savings.
  • NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC): If your loved one has complex care needs, the NHS may pay for their care costs in full. Continuing Healthcare is a non-means-tested funding source that covers 100% of your fees if you have a primary health need. Learn about NHS Continuing Healthcare.

Yes. We understand that funding can be a significant concern, so we provide several resources to help you. Our free funding calculator helps you identify and apply for funds you may be eligible for, such as those from your Local Authority or State benefits. We also have detailed guide on NHS funding and can connect you with independent advocates for support.

Unlike some other providers, we have a simple and transparent pricing structure. Our prices do not include fees for joining or leaving our service, or surcharges for bank holidays and weekends. The only potential add-on costs are for a carer who can drive, additional spousal support, or a managed food budget.

No, Elder never charges a sign-up or joining fee for using our services.

The primary factor affecting your quote is the specific care needs of the individual. Our prices are tailored to the skills required from the carer. Other factors include the availability of carers in your area and local market rates, but we’re committed to providing excellent value.

Care is invoiced and paid for on a weekly basis. However, if you are receiving Direct Payments from the council, you may be offered the option to pay monthly.

Yes. If you wish to split the invoice between a family member or your local council, simply speak with your Care Advisor. They can set this up on your account before your care begins.
