1. Find a carer, uniquely matched to you
Easily submit a care request by answering a few simple questions. We’ll use your answers to identify suitable carers for you to review. From your MyElder account, you’ll be able to view a detailed profile for each suitable carer – including their skills, background, interests, and the feedback they’ve received from other Elder customers. You can reserve or reject carers with a click of a button.
2. Capture every need in detail
Build a comprehensive care profile using our intuitive questionnaire – from health conditions and mobility, to daily routine and what the home is like. With visual prompts and dropdown lists for complex information – we make it easy to record every detail. And, you can update this information at anytime if your health or care needs change.
3. Chat with carers, and with us
We know how important it can be to get to know your carer better before they arrive. You can start a chat with any carer you’ve reserved – it’s a great way to ask questions, or arrange a phone call. You can chat directly to Elder too. Simply head to your MyElder inbox to send, and receive messages, and view your chat history.
4. Work together as a family
We know arranging care is often a team effort. You can add additional family members to your MyElder account at any time, allowing them to contribute to the care profile and stay in the loop once care is arranged.
Care logs display regular updates from your carer on how their daily routine has gone, highlights of the day and important events, to help you and your family stay in control of care.
5. Access useful tips and advice
From advice on how to get started and prepare for care, to tips on how to make the most of your care arrangement, the MyElder knowledge centre gives you access to essential content to help you navigate your care journey.
